Annual Pancake Festival

Kiwanis clubs frequently hold pancake fundraisers to raise funds for community projects. When it comes to serving up a scrumptious breakfast, nothing seems to top our fascination with the pancake. And if you're familiar with Kiwanis International, chances are you've had your share of pancakes ― one of the organizations' key ingredients for successful fundraisers.

The Kiwanis Club of Winter Haven Foundation has hosted its annual Pancake Festival since 1959. Mark your calendars for this signature fundraiser on the last Saturday of January each year.

National Pancake Day

Kiwanis family members support IHOP's National Pancake Day by serving as ambassadors for their local children's hospital. In exchange for a free stack of pancakes, donations are requested to support the local Children's Miracle Network Hospital—a preferred charity of Kiwanis International. Kiwanis family members act as the voice of the mission, encouraging restaurant patrons to support this charitable cause.

It's official! The date for IHOP's National Pancake Day is Tuesday, March 7, 2017!

During National Pancake Day, the company's largest philanthropic event of the year, more than 1,500 IHOP restaurants across the country will invite guests to enjoy a complimentary stack of IHOP's signature delicious buttermilk pancakes from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.

Guests will be encouraged to make a voluntary contribution to their local Children's Miracle Network Hospital (we encourage guests to contribute at least what they would have paid for the pancakes - or $5).

And even better - guests who make a $5 donation will receive a coupon good for $5 off their next visit!
